Owned my own business Sew-N-So for 13 years. I closed it due to divorce and need for insurance and went to work for David's Bridal, starting as alterations manager and eventually moving to manager. After 12 years, they closed my store and I decided that I needed a new career in life that gave me the ability to help people. I had a conversation with a friend and Medicare was brought up. I was so confused and scared, as I was 55 years old at the time. If I couldn't understand it, how could 65,75 and 85 year old people understand? That conversation led me to what I love now, helping people with the confusing decisions of Medicare and  healthcare in general. This was 5 years ago and I haven't looked back.
